SANAA, January 13 (Akhbar al-Yawm) – A French newspaper stated that Europe is trying to bring out the Gulf countries in issues concerning democracy and human rights. This is the reason why the Inter-governmental Regional Conference on Democracy, Human Rights and the International Criminal Court was organized and held in Yemen, which is the most democratic country in the region. The newspaper added that meaning of the conference was clear in the absence of the United States, the 'brain' behind the peace plan and the economic reformation policy of the Middle East. On the other hand, the United States in participating in another international conference held in Qatar and is expected to have Israeli participants under American sponsorship. The theme of the conference and name is 'American Islamic Discussions and Political Reformation in the Islamic World'.
